It certainly does help you feel more calm, present, and tapped into you so you can be more creative!
 
Here's why: when you are stressed your brain is focused on handling the situation at hand....not crafting a masterpiece or scripting the next block buster.
 
But when you are relaxed and at ease your brain feels safe and turns on imagination and creativity. Cool right?
